He has worked with First National Bank, Santander UK and Justice Capital, where he managed its £70 million litigation funding run-off portfolio.

Octavian Bodișteanu

Octavian is a jurist and former Minister of Youth and Sports for the Republic of Moldova. He is a multiple national and international champion of free wrestling, a qualified lawyer and the first honorary citizen in his native village. Octavian speaks 5 languages fluently - Moldovan, Romanian, Russian, French & English and is a member of the Westminster Russia Forum.

Martin is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in Finance, Banking and Risk. Martin was Chief Financial Officer and Head of Risk at Justice Capital Limited. Prior to that, he was Head of Finance of Santander UK's business finance arm, managing £1 billion of assets and £3 billion of deposits.

Nehit Makwana, MBA CIMA

Partner & Chief Financial Officer

Nehit is a CIMA qualified accountant by profession and has an MBA. He has worked in the finance departments of several organisations of varying size and has built up strong expertise not only in financial accounting but also in management information systems. His hands-on and methodical approach to the finance function provides a strong foundation for Strax Capital Partners.

Jay has worked at Goldman Sachs and Fidelity International previously, where he was a fund research analyst supporting their Multi-Asset portfolio managers, and has had shorter experiences at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. He also has a first class degree from the University of Warwick in Economics and has passed all 3 levels of the CFA on the first attempt.
